Windy Point 8.7 mile course follows Historic Arizona Mining Road

LAUGHLIN, NV- American Rally Sport Group, Inc. (ARSG) is pleased to announce the inclusion of the Windy Point Hill Climb as a new competitive stage in the three-day Ramada Express International Rally USA, headquartered in Laughlin, Nevada on December 9-12, 2004. The uniqueness of a hill climb is expected to introduce a new competitive experience to the Ramada Express International Rally USA.

The hill climb course follows a winding historic hillside road originally used by miners working their silver mines in northwestern Arizona. It is expected to be a challenging drive packed with spectacular mountain scenery. ARSG has worked for several years with local and state authorities in order to secure permission for the use of this new competitive stage.

"We are enjoying our seventh year of rally competition in Nevada and Arizona, and the Windy Point Hill Climb should prove to be a fantastic new element", states Roger Allison, ARSG president.

Comments Ray Hocker, ARSG vice-president and clerk of the course, " Our event is often referred to as America's Grand Canyon Rally USA, because of its unique Grand Canyon stage, where competition begins at the bottom of the Grand Canyon, only a few feet from the waters of the Colorado River This stage has become so popular, the event course and film clips are licensed for the new Richard Burns Rally Championship simulation, now available in Europe. I think our new Windy Point Hill Climb stage will be a hit as well."

The Ramada Express International Rally USA opened as an independent international competitive event in 1998, and continues as America's longest-running FIA-listed endurance rally. It receives its sanction from the United States Auto Club (USAC).
