CUP Test and Tune on Jan 17 is now a Rally-X!
Hello Rally fans!
This year we have a last minute BIG CHANGE to this event. Instead of the typical Test and Tune format, this event will be run as a Rally-X! This means you can participate with regular cars that meet the Rally-X rules, you don't need a NASA membership or license, and the safety equipment required is just a qualifying helmet.
Looking for some winter fun? Join your Central Upper Peninsula Organizers for a Test and Tune style event in Rock Michigan on January 17, 2026! This is a rare opportunity for low key rally fun and some serious test miles at the legendary Rally Farm! The Central UP Rally-X/Test and Tune is run on a perimeter road around the rally farm in Rock Michigan. Normal conditions call for cold, maybe snow/ice, and lots of hospitality! Due to the loop road on the farm with the start and finish on either side of the barn, you can drive as many laps as you care to until you need a break in the barn for some social time. I did around 50 miles of testing the last time I drove it, and we had a great time riding in other cars and talking rally in the barn with everyone. Track conditions are shaping up to be the best yet with plenty of snow.
Don’t miss a rare opportunity for cold weather fun!
