Press Release
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Charleston, South Carolina (July 5, 2012)
Eric Wages, driver and owner of Dirty Rallysport, will be fielding a two-car team effort in Snowshoe, West Virginia at the 2012 Rally West Virginia by adding rookie Sebastian Kokoszka to the roster. The race is the third event in the Atlantic Rally Cup (ARC) and will offer a unique mix of gravel and tarmac surfaces, including two hillclimb stages to the top of Snowshoe Resort. Snowshoe is world-renowned for its unsurpassed winter skiing and summer mountain biking trails.
The #2 Dirty Rallysport WRX piloted by Eric Wages and Sarah Montplaisir will be a familiar sight to the fans at Snowshoe. Last year, the duo placed fourth overall at the event after numerous mechanical issues throughout the weekend. This year, the Dirty Rallysport marque is doubling its presence. Making his first appearance at Rally West Virginia, Sebastian Kokoszka from Raleigh, North Carolina will be joining the team as a RallySolo competitor in his notable camouflage-patterned #74 Subaru WRX under the Dirty Rallysport marque and its associated sponsors.
While Kokoszka is still in his first year of stage rally, he is not new to autosport. His racing resume includes two North Carolina Rallycross championships, podium finishes at Redline Time Attack, and numerous years of motocross/cross country ATV racing under the auspices of his father, a former competitor in the Polish Rally Championship (Rajdowe Samochodowe Mistrzostwa Polski).
"As one of the pioneers of RallySolo, Sebastian has been a vocal proponent of NASA Rally Sport and does whatever he can to help grow the sport among volunteers and other participants. We are glad to have him join the team and help promote grassroots rally!" says Wages.
TurboTime of Cary, NC continues to provide on-site support services for Dirty Rallysport and will also have to increase their presence at the event due to the increased scope. Ryan Davis, president and owner of TurboTime states, "We are excitedly looking forward to supporting two Dirty Rallysport Subarus at a rally - a first for our shop! Providing this level of service validates our years of specialty expertise in performance Subarus and really highlights our abilities to build and maintain competition vehicles in addition to our usual day-to-day maintenance of street vehicles."
