USUK Racing, the rally team of Simon and Kieran Wright and Axcel Sports, a rising star company that produces motorsports protective safety wear, are excited to announce a 2013 partnership and sponsorship. Axcel Sports produces custom fit fireproof race suits for teams and crews, as well as a complete line of off the rack race suits and accessories. They have created the new USUK themed race custom race suits for Simon and Kieran, who are thrilled to have this opportunity.
Simon and Kieran, a father-son racing team, have been working together since 2007 to capture the Atlantic Rally Cup 2WD championship in 2010, 2011, and 2012. While well known inside the United States, the team also steps up to compete on an international level and even runs in the occasional WRC event. They have competed in over 40 rally events and work hard to maintain a strong finish record.

The USUK Racing team completed the 2013 Sandblast Rally, capturing 2nd in class and 10th overall. They have plans this year to also race at NASA Rally Sport events including Empire State Rally, Rally West Virginia, Black River Stages, Hyperfest, as well as other events across the United States in their newly built 1995 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS.
Axcel Sports produces auto racing, karting, motocross and motorcycle road racing protective safety gear and is known for their cutting edge designs and product quality. “I can’t be happier than to have a great father/ son team wearing our gear for the 2013 season. I only wish I had that opportunity myself when I raced in the Pro Rally Series.
